Where’s the MUSIC?

Hey team!

I need some group participation here. I’m wondering if we have any musical team members? Worship is really important, and while we’re going to learn some ‘creative worship’ techniques, I’d love to know if we have any musicians or singers. So, please comment if you sing, play anything (and tell us what it is), and if there’s anyone bringing a guitar along that would be PHENOMENAL to know!

For everyone else – please comment with a few worship song suggestions (song name and artist if you know it). I’d love to put us together a little ‘song book’ of worship music that we can all learn together!

The trip is coming soon! Stay tuned for some packing advice in my next post 🙂

  2. This song is from a conference I have gone to the past three years called World Mandate and it is written by their worship leader, so it is not well known but I thought if we were going to learn songs this would be a great one! It’s called Jesus is the Lord.

  3. I sing, and I have a lot of songs I can bring the guitar chords to that I sing with my praise band at my church. They are all pretty well known, mostly the more contemporary praise songs. “Inside Out” -Hillsong “Beautiful The Blood” -Steve Fee, “Salvation Is Here”-Hillsong “Reign In Us”-Starfield…etc.

    I love the songs You are Holy by Michael W. Smith. The Time has come, From inside out, Take it all, none but Jesus all by Hillsong. Your Love Is Extravagant by Casting Crowns. Father, Sprirt, Jesus by Casting Crowns. Empty Me by Jeremy Camp. All I want is you by Planetshakers. Also Third Day has great songs. There are so many!!!

  10. so about the guitar… I left it at school, which is only an hour away so I’ll try to go back and get it tonight, but if I can’t make it over there, looks like all we’ve got is our voices team, ha I’ll try though!

  12. God of This City is AWESOME!!! I sing in our praise team but uh…. yall can be the judge of how well… 🙂 I don’t think it’s that good haha. I like that song Mighty to Save or somethin like that. You know… “Savior He can move the mountains.. My God is mighty to save. He is mighty to save!” I LOVE that one.

  13. That’s so cool! I wish I could play guitar. I’m takin drum lessons, but I’ve just got the basics down. Still have a LONG way to go, but I can usually keep the beat haha.
