Leader Greetings!
I just wanted to hop on here and say a quick hello to you all. I apologize for not having done it sooner – life has been a little crazy with traveling and work around the office and sickness (bronchitis. yuck!) BUT – I’m here to say I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT OUR TRIP!!!
I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you. I know I speak for Frank too (my co-leader) when I say we can’t wait to get to know you, love you, serve you, and lead you. We’re so excited about what God has in store for each of you, for us as a “family” (and oh yes, we WILL be a family after living together for a month! GET EXCITED!) and for the people we’ll be ministering to in South Africa!

And don’t let the pageant picture fool you – my record for not showering is 12 days (Africa) and 17 days (India). Gross! Boy does God have a sense of humor! Praise the Lord for baby wipes 🙂 I am praying for many more opportunities to shower on our trip – haha!
On a more serious note – If I can leave you with anything today, I’ll leave you with what Franki and I discussed last night: BE REAL. We really want you guys to be real, be open, be honest with us. We want to get to know your hearts – NO MASKS ALLOWED. We want to have open and honest communication, and to live together in a community of LOVE and TRUST!
I hope you’re as excited as we are. Can’t wait to talk to you guys tonight!
