Bring a Backpack!
Hey all – more news for you-
Please bring a backpack with you to Africa! I won’t say this is ‘required’ – but I will definitely suggest it if you’ve got one. Since we’re walking everywhere, you’ll need something to carry things in (lunch/water for the day, food from the store, anything you buy, ministry supplies to our ministry sites) – a backpack is going to be the best bet for this kind of thing.
Also- you might want to get some sort of caribeaner (sp) or lock for it so people can’t just walk up and unzip it when it’s on your back (I had kids try to get in mine in India while I was wearing it).
Just more advice as I get it!
Less than a week till you guys get here – I’m so excited!
